I only see nearby tracks or landmarks

That is the client-only fallback. Install the matching MTR Map Overlay build and MTR on the server to enable whole-network snapshots. Then request a refresh with /mtrmap syncRoutes.

No tracks or routes appear

• Confirm MTR Map Overlay, MTR and the map mod are for Minecraft 1.21.1 and the same loader.
• Open the fullscreen map, not the minimap or in-world HUD.
• Check that the TRACKS and ROUTES buttons are on, or enable trackLines and routeLines in the config.
• Xaero’s World Map renderer updates can affect its integration; check the game log for MTR Map Overlay errors.

Why are there no minimap waypoints?

Current landmarks are drawn only inside the fullscreen map. They do not enter the waypoint list, compass, minimap or HUD. Xaero’s Minimap is optional and is only used to clean [MTR] waypoints from older releases.

The command is unknown

The current client command root is /mtrmap. Remove older MTR Map Overlay builds and install version 1.5.0 for your loader.

Does the server need the mod?

No for nearby-data use. Yes, on both client and server, for whole-network snapshots.

Which loaders and game version?

Minecraft 1.21.1 with NeoForge 21.1.x or Fabric Loader plus Fabric API. Use matching loader builds of MTR and the map mod.
