Installation

Install MTR Map Overlay 1.5.0 with NeoForge or Fabric on Minecraft 1.21.1.

MTR Map Overlay 1.5.0 adds MTR tracks, route ribbons and map-only landmarks to Xaero’s World Map and JourneyMap. It supports Minecraft 1.21.1 with NeoForge or Fabric. Install the JAR that matches your loader; do not put both builds in the same instance.

Install

  1. Download the NeoForge or Fabric JAR from GitHub Releases.
  2. Put one matching JAR in your client’s mods folder. Fabric also needs Fabric API.
  3. Add MTR and at least one supported fullscreen map mod, all for the same Minecraft version and loader.
  4. Launch the game and open Xaero’s World Map or JourneyMap fullscreen map.

The overlay can run on a client alone and will show the nearby MTR data sent to that client. For the whole network in every dimension, install the matching MTR Map Overlay build and MTR on the server too.

Modrinth and CurseForge project pages are under review. GitHub Releases is the available download source while review is in progress.
